Objective To explore the application effect of continuous blood glucose meter monitoring in diabetic patients. Methods A total of 88 diabetic patients treated in New Mile General Hospital of Yankuang Group from August 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 44 cases in each group.The control group was given routine blood glucose monitoring, and the observation group was given dynamic blood glucose monitoring.Blood glucose level,quality of life, self-management ability and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in blood glucose levels between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention,fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose levels in the observation group were (5.88±1.47) and (8.13±1.64)mmol/L,which were lower than those in the control group (8.27±2.08)and (11.44±2.10)mmol/L,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the world health organization quality of life(WHOQOL-BREF) score between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).The WHOQOL-BREF scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in self-care ability determination scale (ESCA) score between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).The ESCA scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 95.45%, higher than that of the control group 81.82%, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application effect of continuous blood glucose meter monitoring in diabetic patients is good, which can effectively improve patients' self-management ability, stabilize blood sugar level, improve patients' quality of life, and improve nursing satisfaction.
