Objective To discuss the application of narrative nursing in inpatients with stage Ⅱand Ⅲpneumoconiosis and the influence on patients' nursing satisfaction. Methods Fifty inpatients with stage Ⅱand Ⅲpneumoconiosis admitted to the Department of Respiratory Medicine, the Pingxiang Third People's Hospital from September 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received narrative nursing on this basis.Both groups were given 2 weeks of intervention.The psychological status and self-care ability of the two groups before and after intervention were compared, and the total nursing satisfaction of the two groups was compared. Results There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores, the self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores and the exercise of self-care agency scale (ESCA) scores before intervention (P >0.05).After intervention, the SAS score and SDS score of observation group were lower than those of control group, and the ESCA score of observation group was higher than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group (96.00%) was higher than that of the control group (72.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Applying narrative nursing to inpatients with stage Ⅱand Ⅲpneumoconiosis can improve their psychological status, self-care ability and nursing satisfaction.
