Objective To explore the effect of behavioral impulse intervention nursing on impulsive behaviors and quality of life in patients with bipolar disorder treated by brain therapeutic apparatus. Methods A total of 76 patients with bipolar disorder who were admitted to Shangrao Third People's Hospital for treatment from January 2019 and December 2019 were selected as subjects, and they were divided into observation group (n=38) and control group (n=38)by the random number table method. Both groups adopted A620 brain therapeutic apparatus, and the control group was given conventional nursing intervention while the observation group was treated with behavioral impulse intervention nursing. The modified overt aggression scale (MOAS) was used to evaluate and compare the impulsive behavior of the two groups before and after intervention. The generic quality of life inventory-74 was used to evaluate and compare the quality of life of the two groups before and after intervention. Results There were no significant differences in MOAS scores between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).MOAS scores of the two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, MOAS score of observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the scores of quality of life between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).The scores of social function, psychological function, physical function and material life status in the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of social function, psychological function, physical function and material life status of patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of behavioral impulse intervention nursing in patients with bipolar disorder treated by A620 brain therapeutic apparatus can improve their impulsive behavior and improve their quality of life.
