Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Dexmedetomidine combined with Sevoflurane on anesthesia effect and postoperative cognitive function in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 78 laparoscopic surgery patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from February 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into group A and group B according to random lot method, with 39 cases in each group.Group B was anesthetized with Sevoflurane and group A was anesthetized with Dexmedetomidine on the basis of group B.The effect of anesthesia and cognitive function were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in anesthesia time between the two groups (P>0.05).The recovery time of orientation, waking time and first breath time in group A were shorter than those in group B,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in preoperative mini-mental state examination(MMSE) score between two groups (P>0.05).The MMSE score of 1 day after surgery in both groups were lower than those before surgery, and the MMSE score of 1 day after surgery in group A was higher than that in group B,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine combined with Sevoflurane is effective in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery, and can improve cognitive function.
