Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between serum C-reactive protein (CRP),neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and the occurrence of infectious peritonitis (SP) in uremic peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. Methods A total of 196 patients with uremia received PD treatment in the Second Hospital of Longyan City from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into two groups according to whether they had SP or not,and 42 patients with SP were set as the observation group,154 patients without SP were set as the control group. The convenient sampling method was used. The serum CRP and NLR levels of the two groups were compared, and the correlation between the serum CRP and NLR levels and the occurrence of SP was analyzed,as well as the value of CRP and NLR in evaluating SP.Results The levels of serum CRP and NLR in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Serum CRP and NLR levels were positively correlated with the occurrence of SP (P<0.05).The area under curve (AUC) of CRP for the diagnosis of SP was 0.838 (95% confidence interval: 0.760-0.916),the sensitivity was 0.806,and the specificity was 0.833;the AUC of NLR for diagnosing SP was 0.867 (95% confidence interval: 0.786-0.948),the sensitivity was 0.871,and the specificity was 0.858.Conclusion Serum CRP and NLR levels are closely related to the occurrence of SP in uremic PD patients.
