Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of music therapy combined with routine nursing on preoperative negative emotion and psychological resilience of patients with gynecological malignancy. Methods A total of 200 patients undergoing gynecological malignant tumor surgery in Women′s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects. According to random number table method, the patients were divided into routine nursing group (n=100) and music therapy group (n=100). Routine nursing group adopted routine nursing, and music therapy group combined with music therapy on the basis of routine nursing. Self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score, heart rate and blood pressure fluctuation, psychological resilience score and patient satisfaction score were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results After intervention, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and heart rate of music therapy group were lower than those of conventional nursing group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). At the same time, there were no significant differences in systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and heart rate of conventional nursing group before and after intervention (P>0.05), heart rate and blood pressure were more stable. SAS score of music therapy group was lower than that of routine nursing group after intervention, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the mental resilience score of music therapy group was higher than that of conventional nursing group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction score of patients in music therapy group was higher than that in conventional nursing group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Music therapy combined with routine nursing can significantly improve patient anxiety, reduce stress response, enhance psychological resilience, improve perioperative nursing service quality and patient safety, improve patient satisfaction.
