Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of wrist ankle acupuncture on acute pain 24 h after operation of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods A total of 100 patients with postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids treated in the Sixth Clinical Medical College of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2019 to January 2020 were selected as research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Diclofenac Sodium Suppository, and the observation group was treated with wrist ankle acupuncture. Visual analogue scale (VAS) score, onset time of analgesia and comfort score were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). The VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The onset time of analgesia in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in comfort score between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). The comfort scores of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The comfort score of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion When acute pain occurs 24 h after operation in patients with mixed hemorrhoids, the onset time of wrist ankle acupuncture analgesia is shorter than that in the control group. It can quickly relieve the pain and improve the comfort of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
