Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of transcranial direct current stimulation combined with core stability training in cerebral infarction patients with hemiplegia. Methods A total of 98 patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia admitted to Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital from May 2019 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (49 cases) and the observation group (49 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group was given core stability training, and the observation group was given transcranial direct current stimulation on the basis of the control group for four weeks. The degree of neurological deficit (National Institutes of Health stroke scale [NIHSS]), balance ability (Berg balance scale [BBS]), motor function (Fugl-Meyer assessment [FMA]), daily life ability (Barthel index [BI]) and quality of life (stroke impact scale [SIS]) before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in NIHSS, BBS, FMA, BI and SIS scores between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After intervention, NIHSS scores of the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and NIHSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, BBS, FMA, BI and SIS scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and BBS, FMA, BI and SIS scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Transcranial direct current stimulation combined with core stability training can reduce the degree of neurological deficit in hemiplegic patients with cerebral infarction, improve balance ability and limb motor function, and comprehensively improve the quality of life.
