Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of sleep psychological behavior mode in middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic insomnia. Methods From April 2019 to December 2020,60 middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic insomnia treated in Jingdezhen Fourth People′s Hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group was implemented with routine nursing, the observation group was performed with sleep psychological behavior nursing on this basis.Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and the self-report symptom inventory, symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90) were used to compare the sleep quality and mental health of the two groups before and after the intervention. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the factor scores of PSQI scale between the two groups (P>0.05).After 4 weeks of intervention, the factor scores of sleep quality, sleep time, length of sleep, sleep efficiency, sleep disorder, hypnotic drugs and daytime dysfunction and the total scores in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The factor scores of sleep quality, sleep time, length of sleep, sleep efficiency, sleep disorder, hypnotic drugs and daytime dysfunction and the total scores in the observation group after 4 weeks of intervention were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no significant differences in SCL-90 factor scores between the two groups (P>0.05).The scores of somatization, anxiety, depression and panic in the control group after 4 weeks of intervention were higher than those before intervention, while the scores of compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility, paranoia, psychosis of other 6 factors in the control group after 4 weeks of intervention were lower than those before intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significantly difference in the total score of SCL-90 between the control group after 4 weeks of intervention and before intervention (P>0.05).The factor scores of somatization, anxiety, depression, panic, compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility, paranoia, psychosi of SCL-90 and the total scores of the observation group after 4 weeks of intervention were lower than those before intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The factor scores of somatization, anxiety, depression, panic, compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility, paranoia and psychosis of SCL-90 and the total scores of in the observation group after 4 weeks of intervention were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Sleep psychological behavior intervention is helpful to improve sleep quality, mental health and life quality of elderly patients with chronic insomnia.
