Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of accelerated rehabilitation surgical nursing in patients with drug-refractory epilepsy during perioperative period. Methods A total of 255 patients with refractory epilepsy who underwent surgery in Beijing Fengtai Hospital from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into observation group (128 cases) and control group (127 cases) according to the random ball-touching method. Control group was given routine perioperative nursing, observation group was given accelerated rehabilitation surgical nursing. The stress indexes of the two groups before and after operation were observed and compared. The clinical indicators of the two groups were compared. Results The levels of white blood cell (WBC), cortisol(Cor) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In the observation group, the early postoperative feeding time, postoperative catheter removal time, postoperative ambulation time and hospitalization time were shorter than those in the control group, and the hospitalization cost was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Perioperative nursing intervention of accelerated rehabilitation surgery in patients with refractory epilepsy has a better effect, which can improve patients′ symptoms, shorten postoperative feeding time, catheter removal time, hospital stay and reduce hospitalization costs, which is worthy of clinical application
