Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Ecabet Sodium combined with Cimetidine on the levels of serum peptide hormones and cytokines in patients with gastric ulcer. Methods A total of 82 patients with gastric ulcer in Zhongshan Chen Xinghai Hospital from February 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the study subjects and divided into control group (41 cases) and observation group (41 cases) by random number table method. The control group was treated with Cimetidine, and the observation group was treated with Ecabet Sodium for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy, serum peptide hormones (motilin [MTL], gastrin [GAS], somatostatin [SS]), cytokine levels (vascular endothelial growth factor[VEGF], epidermal growth factor [EGF], interleukin-1 [IL-1]) and the total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the serum MTL and GAS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, SS, VEGF, and RGF were higher than those in the control group, and IL-1 was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the total incidence of adverse events between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Ecabet Sodium combined with Cimetidine in the treatment of gastric ulcer can effectively improve the levels of serum peptide hormones and cytokines in patients, improve clinical efficacy, and is safe and reliable.
