Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Salvianolate combined with Esmolol in elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris. Methods A total of 98 elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris admitted to the Department of Emergency, Liaocheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2019 to September 2021 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. Control group was treated with Esmolol, and observation group was treated with Salvianolate on the basis of control group. The efficacy, cardiac function, hemodynamics, oxidative stress index and medication safety of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD) and left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD) between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the LVEF of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,LVEDD and LVESD were lower than those before treatment, LVEF of observation group was higher than that of the control group, LVEDD and LVESD were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, fibrinogen, high whole blood viscosity, low whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and fibrinogen, high whole blood viscosity, low whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, malondialdehyde (MDA) in both groups were lower than those before treatment, superoxide dismutase (SOD) were higher than those before treatment, and the MDA level in observation group was lower than that in control group, SOD level was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Salvianolate combined with Esmolol in the treatment of angina pectoris in elderly patients with coronary heart disease can improve cardiac function, improve hemodynamics, reduce oxidative stress level, with significant efficacy and good safety, high application value.
