Abstract：Objective To study the effects and safety of Vinblastine Sustained Release Capsules in the treatment of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy(NAION).Methods A total of 44 NAION patients(44 eyes)treated from January 2017 to January 2021 in Sinqi Ophthalmology Hospital of Shenyang City and Shenyang Fourth People′s Hospital were investigated.According to registration time,they were divided into the control group and the study group according to the treatment time,there were 22 cases and 22 eyes in both groups.The patients in the control group(from January 2017 to December 2019)were treated with conventional drugs,and the patients in the study group( from January 2020 to January 2021)were treated with Vinblastine Sustained Release Capsules on the basis of the control group.The visual acuity,average visual field defect,electrophysiological indexes and morphological indexes of the two groups were observed before and after treatment.Results There were no significant difference in best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),average visual field defect,amplitude and latency of pattern visual evoked potential(PVEP),thickness of retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)and thickness of retinal ganglion cell complex(GCC)between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).There were no significant difference in PVEP amplitude and latency between before treatment and after treatment in the control group(P＞0.05).The average visual acuity,average visual field defect,RNFL and GCC of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,the average visual acuity,visual field defect,PVEP amplitude and latency of the study group after treatment were lower than those of the control group,and the PVEP amplitude and latency of the study group after treatment were lower than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Vinblastine Sustained Release Capsules has a good overall effect in NAION patients.It can improve patients′ vision and reduce the average defect of visual field.It is helpful for patients with optic nerve injury and is worthy of application.
