Abstract:Objective To analyze the expression level and diagnostic value of circular ribonucleic acid(circRNA)in cancer and adjacent tissues of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods Pathological tissue samples of 12 NSCLC patients admitted to Jiangxi Chest Hospital from June 2020 to May 2021 were selected to screen out circRNA with significant difference in expression between cancer tissues and adjacent tissues.Volcanic map was made and cluster analysis was performed.Serum samples from 47 NSCLC patients and 47 healthy subjects were collected during the same period.The circRNA detection was performed on all patients,and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were made to explore the diagnostic value of circRNA in NSCLC.Area under curve(AUC)was labeled to explore the correlation between serum circRNA expression level and clinical indicators.Results A total of 194 circrnas with obvious expression differences between cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were screened out,among which 121 showed up-regulation and 73 showed down-regulation.Volcanic map and cluster analysis results showed that circRNA could clearly distinguish NSCLC cancer tissues from adjacent tissues.There was no significant difference in circRNA expression level among NSCLC patients with different gender,age,smoking status,tumor differentiation,pathological type and cancer stage(P>0.05).ROC curve results showed that the sensitivity,specificity and AUC of serum circRNA in the diagnosis of NSCLC were 82.98%,61.70% and 0.795 respectively.Conclusion The expression of circRNA in NSCLC cancer tissues and paracancerous tissues are significantly different,and the diagnosis of NSCLC by serum circRNA is more accurate,and the level of circRNA may reflect the disease to a certain extent.
