Effect of targeted nursing methods on the quality of life and blood glucose indexes of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with malignant tumor of digestive tract

Abstract:Objective To investigate the impact of targeted nursing methods on the quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with malignant tumor of digestive tract.Methods A total of 62 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with malignant tumor of digestive tract admitted to the 334 Hospital Affiliated to Nanchang University from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 31 cases in each group.The control group adopted conventional nursing methods,and the observation group adopted targeted nursing methods based on the nursing method of the control group.The quality of life and blood glucose indexes of the two groups were compared.Results After 3 months of nursing,the quality of life scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of nursing,the blood glucose index of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted nursing methods have a positive impact on the quality of life and blood glucose index of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with gastrointestinal cancer,and it is worthy of application in clinical practice.
