Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Reduced Glutathione in patients with chronic renal failure. Methods A total of 260 patients with chronic renal failure admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into observation group(130 cases)and control group(130 cases)using the random number table method. The observation group was treated with conservative treatment combined with Reduced Glutathione, and the control group was treated with conservative treatment. The hemoglobin(Hb)and serum creatinine(Scr)levels of the two groups were compared. Results Before treatment, the Hb and Scr levels of the two groups were not statistically different(P>0.05).After treatment, the Hb level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the Scr level was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,Hb level of patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)stage 3,CKD stage 4 and CKD stage 5 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, while Scr level was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Reduced Glutathione has a positive effect in the treatment of patients with chronic renal failure,it can effectively improve the renal function of patients, and is suitable for patients in different stages of disease progression such as CKD3,CKD4,and CKD5.It is worthy of promotion.
