Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of Erythromycin and Azithromycin in the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children. Methods A total of 60 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia who admitted to Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Ganzhou City of Jiangxi Province from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The children in the control group were treated with Erythromycin, and the children in the experimental group were treated with Azithromycin. The antipyretic time, hospitalization time, total effective rate and total incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared..Results The antipyretic time and hospitalization time in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Azithromycin is more effective in the clinical treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children.Rational use of Azithromycin can improve the safety of the drug and reduce the adverse reactions of the drug as much as possible. It has important clinical value for physical recovery of children and is worth of promotion and application.
