Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of curved supine position nursing mode in orthopedic longterm bedridden patients. Methods A total of 60 patients with lower limb fracture who underwent orthopedic surgery in Shangrao Fifth People′s Hospita,Jiangxi Province from November 2019 to March 2020 were selected. All the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method,30 cases in each group. The routine nursing was performed in the control group after orthopedic surgery, while the curved supine position nursing mode was performed in the observation group on the basis of routine nursing. The incidence of pressure ulcer, the score of Kolcaba general comfort questionnaire (Kolcaba),hospital stays, and medical expense were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of pressure ulcer in the observation group was lower than that in the control group during intervention, with statistical difference (P<0.05).The Kolcaba scores of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and Kolcaba score of observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).The postoperative hospital stays in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, medical expense in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Curved supine position nursing mode in orthopedic long-term bedridden patients can decrease the incidence of pressure ulcer, improve the comfort status, shorten hospital stays, and reduce surgery cost, which has better application effect.
