Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of endoscopic sinus surgery combined with antibiotics and intranasal hormone Budesonide in the treatment of patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps.Methods A total of 50 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps who were admitted to Wuxi No.8 People′s Hospital from January 2016 to December 2018 were selected as the research objects,according to the principle of random drawing,they were divided into group A (treated with endoscopic sinus surgery) and group B (combined with antibiotics and intranasal hormone Budesonide drug treatment on the basis of group A treatment),25 cases in each group.The amount of intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization time of the two groups were observed,the clinical efficacy of the two groups after treatment was compared,and the incidence of postoperative complications in the two groups was recorded.Results There was no significant difference in the amount of intraoperative blood loss between the two groups (P＞0.05).The hospitalization time of group B was shorter than that of group A,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment,the total clinical effective rate of group B (92.00%) and group A (84.00%) was not statistically different (P＞0.05).Compared with group A (20.00%),the total incidence of complications in group B (12.00%) was not statistically different (P＞0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic sinus surgery combined with antibiotics and intranasal hormone Budesonide in the treatment of patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps can shorten their hospitalization time,have certain clinical effect,and have lower total incidence of complications.
