Abstract:Objective To explore the advantages and safety of laparoscopic treatment of acute abdomen in children. Methods The data of 837 children with acute abdomen treated in Sanming First Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from October 2016 to August 2019 were retrospectively analyzed, and were divided into two groups according to different surgical methods,in which 468 cases as observation groups were treated with laparoscopic surgery and 369 cases as the control group was treated with open surgery. The surgical indexes, treatment effects and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The intraoperative blood loss was (23.51±1.21) mL of the observation group, which was less than that of the control group of(38.89±1.57)mL,the operation time was(48.52±1.32)min,and the anal exhaust time was (2.05±0.35) d,hospitalization time was (5.11±1.24) d,which were shorter than those of the control group of (89.85±1.54) min,(4.65±1.24) d,(7.69±1.54) d,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The treatment total effective rate of the observation group was 98.93%,higher than that in the control group of 90.51%,which was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total complication rate of the observation group was 2.35%,lower than that in the control group of 13.82%,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The use of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of acute abdomen in children is safer, and it can shorten the length of hospitalization and surgery, and improve the overall efficiency of treatment. It is worthy of promotion.
