Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of superselective infusion of Sodium Bicarbonate combined with Papaverine through the target artery on chemoembolization of solid malignant tumor. Methods A total of 60 patients with solid malignant tumor treated by chemoembolization in our hospital from January 2018 to March 2019 were selected as the research subjects and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The study group was treated by chemoembolization+target artery superselective infusion of Sodium Bicarbonate combined with Papaverine, while the control group was treated by chemoembolization alone. The therapeutic effect, side effects of the two groups were compared. The survival and Karnofsky(KPS) scores after 6 and 12 months of follow-up of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of leucopenia, gastrointestinal reaction, pain reaction and fever between the two groups (P>0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in survival rate and KPS scores between the two groups after 6 and 12 months of follow-up (P>0.05). The survival rate of the observation group after 12 months of follow-up was higher than that of the control group, and the KPS scores of the observation group after 6 and 12 months of follow-up were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Superselective infusion of Sodium Bicarbonate combined with Papaverine through the target artery can improve the therapeutic effect of chemoembolization for solid malignant tumors, improve the long-term survival rate and KPS score, and will not increase the side effects, which is worthy of clinical recommendation.
