Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of whole-course psychological intervention in perioperative period of cataract surgery. Methods A total of 160 cases of cataract surgery patients admitted to our hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the reference group (n=80) and the research group (n=80). The reference group received routine nursing, and the research group received whole-process psychological nursing on the basis of the reference group. The postoperative mental health status, complications, satisfaction and life quality of the two groups were compared. Results After surgery, Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) scores of patients in the research group were lower than that of the control group, scores of life quality index were higher than that of the control group,postoperative total complication rate was lower than that of the control group, and total satisfaction rate of nursing was higher than that of the control group, with statistical differences (P <0.05). Conclusion Psychological treatment of cataract surgery patients can effectively improve their anxiety and depression, satisfaction, quality of life, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
