Abstract:Objective To explore the current situation and existing problems of the relevant research on the benefit finding in China by applying bibliometrics method, so as to provide reference for further research and development trends. Methods A bibliometrics analysis was performed on the articles related to benefit finding in the databases of Wanfang Medical Network Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP) from the establishment of database to January 2020. The excel 2016 and SPSS 20.0 were used to establish a literature database for analysis, and metrological statistics on the publication year, journals, regions, fund support, research methods and types, research objects and diseases of the literature was performed. Results A total of 75 articles were included. From 2013 to 2016, the number of publications accounted for only 20.0%, from 2017 to 2019 it accounted for 80.0%, and the volume of published papers was relatively increased. The number of papers mainly distributed in Anhui, Zhejiang, Henan and Jiangsu. The number of published papers from schools and hospitals was almost the same. Most of the studies were cross-sectional research designs, mainly quantitative and investigative research. About 70% of the research subjects were cancer patients. Conclusion Research on the benefit finding in China is still in the exploratory stage. The research methods and contents are relatively simple. Further research is needed, qualitative research and prospective research methods can be used for exploring in multiple perspectives.
