Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of three lumen tube in patients undergoing total laryngectomy. Methods A total of 64 cases of total laryngectomy patients admitted to our hospital from September 2017 to October 2019 were selected as the observation objects. According to the control principle, they were randomly divided into the control group (n=32) and the observation group (n=32). The control group used conventional drainage tube, the observation group used three lumen tube. The total clinical satisfaction, total incidence of adverse events, wound healing time and hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The wound healing time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of three lumen tube in total laryngectomy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, improve patient satisfaction, shorten the healing time of incision, and promote the early discharge of patients.
