Clinical effect of Longdan Xiegan Decoction and Desonide Cream in the treatment of vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Longdan Xiegan Decoction combined with Desonide Cream in the treatment of vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia. Methods From August 2018 to August 2019, a total of 50 patients with vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia in our hospital were selected as the research objects, they were divided into the control group (n=25) and the observation group (n=25) by red violet dichroism. The control group was treated with Desonide Cream. The observation group was treated with the Longdan Xiegan Decoction combined with Desonide Cream. The efficacy, recurrence rates and total adverse reaction rates of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.00%, which was higher than that of the control group (68.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group was 4.35%, which was lower than that of the control group (35.29%), the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group (12.00%) and the control group (16.00%). Conclusion Longdan Xiegan Decoction combined with Desonide Cream can significantly improve the efficacy of vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia, reduce the recurrence rate, and has good safety.
