Objective To explore the application effect of scenario-simulated pre-service training in improving the blood-occupational exposure protection ability of interns. Methods A total of 168 undergraduate students who were internship in Jiangjin District Central Hospital majoring in clinical medicine at Chongqing Medical University were selected by convenient sampling method. The 83 interns from April 2016 to March 2017 were observation group. The 85 interns from April 2015 to March 2016 were the control group. The observation group used the scenario simulation teaching method for pre-job training, and the control group used the traditional teaching method. The theoretical knowledge and practical operation ability of blood-borne occupational exposure protection before and after the two groups of interns were compared, and the teaching evaluation of the two groups of interns on the pre-job training was compared. Results The theoretical assessment and skill assessment results of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05). The satisfaction degree of interns in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Through the scenario simulation pre-job training, the interns′ blood-borne occupational exposure protection ability has been greatly improved, which is worthy of promotion in clinical teaching.
