Objective To explore the application of mobile internet in recruitment of component blood loss donors. Methods A total of 1200 people who had a history of component blood donation at the Chongqing Blood Center from June 2016 to June 2017 were selected as the subjects of this study. According to their ID numbers, they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 600 people in each group. The control group was recruited by telephone, and the observation group was recruited by mobile internet. Recruitment time was one year. At the end, the blood donation rate of the two groups was counted, and the reasons for the loss and the failure of re-recruitment of the two groups were counted through questionnaire survey. Results The observation group successfully recruited 392 people, the recruitment success rate was 65.33%, and the blood donation rate was 59.17%; the control group recruited 276 people successfully, the recruitment success rate was 46.00%, and the blood donation rate was 40.17%, the recruitment success rate and the blood donation rate were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Failure-related factors:the observation team′s communication time was inappropriate, the communication location was not appropriate, the communication time was too long and affects work/life, the communication content cannot solve the problem, the appointment time was forgotten/the appointment time was reached but the appointment time proportion were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05); while the observation group′s poor response (not answering the phone/not sending a message/other)proportion was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Mobile Internet can improve the success rate of recruitment after blood donation loss.
