Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of acupoint massage combined with oral exercise intervention on preterm infants′ oral feeding. Methods A total of 50 premature infants admitted to our hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into observation group (n=25) and control group (n=25)according to the birth time. The control group was given conventional feeding and nursing methods, and the observation group was given acupoint massage combined with oral exercise intervention on the basis of control group, the effect of oral feeding of premature infants in the two groups were observed. Results After treatment, the total oral feeding time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the feeding efficiency and feeding effect were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The body weight in the observation group was greater than that in the control group, and the hospitalization time was shorter than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no complication in premature infants of both groups. Conclusion Acupoint massage combined with oral exercise intervention can improve the complete oral feeding of premature infants, improve the feeding efficiency and feeding effect, benefit the healthy growth of preterm infants, and has high clinical application value.
