Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of remote electrocardiogram (ECG) diagnosis system in basic medical institutions. Methods From September 2018 to August 2019, 500 patients with cardiovascular disease underwent ECG examination in a community hospital of Zhaoqing city, they were examined with routine ECG and remote ECG diagnosis system. The detection rate of arrhythmia, the time from the beginning of applying for ECG examination by clinicians to the end of ECG examination report (referred to as "examination time") and diagnosis results were compared between the two methods. Results The detection rate of arrhythmia in the remote ECG diagnosis system was higher than that in the routine ECG examination, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The examination time in the remote ECG diagnosis system was shorter than that in the routine ECG examination, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The heart rate, P wave amplitude and QRS wave width of ECG waveform in lead Ⅱof remote ECG diagnosis system were lower than those of routine ECG, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The heart rate, P wave amplitude and QRS wave amplitude of ECG waveform in lead Ⅴof remote ECG diagnosis system were lower than those of routine ECG, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with routine ECG examination, remote ECG diagnosis system can detect arrhythmia better, and has the advantage of short examination time, which is convenient for community patients to carry out ECG examination and diagnosis and treatment.
