Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of applying Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction combined with Edaravone in the treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 82 patients with acute ischemic stroke who were treated in our hospital from December 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into two groups, 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Edaravone, and the experimental group was treated with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction combined with Edaravone. The scores of neurological deficits, activities of daily living and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of neurological deficits in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, the scores of activities of daily living and the total effective rate of treatment were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Banxiabaizhu Tianma Decoction combined with Edaravone has a definite effect in the treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke, which can effectively improve neurological function and ability of daily living, which is worthy of clinical application.
