Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of individualized nursing intervention on negative emotion and behavior of patients with mental retardation and behavior disorder. Methods From September 2018 to August 2019, 44 patients with mental retardation and behavior disorder who were diagnosed and treated in the Third People′s Hospital of Foshan City in Guangdong Province were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, 22 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given individualized nursing intervention on this basis. The scores of self rating anxiety scale(SAS), self rating depression scale (SDS) and social function defect screening scale (SDSS) were observed and compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention, the scores of SAS, SDS and SDSS in the observation group were(57.66±6.82),(56.25±7.15), (15.89±2.14) points respectively, and those in the control group were (57.23±7.04), (56.64±7.22), (16.02±2.05) points respectively, without significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the SAS, SDS and SDSS scores of the observation group were (38.48±5.29), (37.36±6.12) and (7.54±2.31) points, which were lower than those of the control group ([43.26±5.06], [41.28±6.45]and [12.16±2.35]points), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of SAS, SDS and SDSS in the observation group after intervention were lower than those before intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The compliance rate of the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than that of control group (68.18%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion For patients with mental retardation combined with behavioral disorders, personalized nursing intervention can effectively improve the negative emotions of patients, control their negative behavior, improve nursing dependence, and provide new clinical diagnosis, treatment and nursing methods for such patients.
