Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupoint massage combined with acupoint application in the treatment of cancer pain. Methods From January 2018 to January 2020, a total of 60 cases with cancer pain treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the treatment group (30 cases) and the control group (30 cases) by the random number table method. Patients in the control group were routinely treated with Morphine Sulfate Sustained-release Tablets. On the basis of the control group, acupoint massage combined with acupoint application was added in the treatment group. Both groups were treated for 1 week. The degree of pain relief after treatment and the quality of life before and after treatment were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effectiveness rate of pain relief in the treatment group was 93.33%, higher than that of the control group accounting for 60.00%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The quality of life (social status, physical status and mental status) scores had no statistical difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05). The quality of life scores in the control group before and after treatment had no statistical significance (P>0.05). After treatment, the quality of life scores in the treatment group were higher than those before treatment, and higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Acupoint massage combined with acupoint application in the treatment of patients with cancer pain can improve the analgesic effect and their quality of life, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
