Application effect of self-made metal ring fixed disposable injector empty tube containing sputum suction connecting tube device in patients in respiratory intensive care unit

Abstract：Objective To investigate the application effect of self-made metal ring fixed disposable injector with sputum suction connecting device in respiratory intensive care unit(RICU).Methods A total of 72 severe cases of RICU in our hospital from January to December 2018 were selected as the study objects,and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method,36 cases in each group.The time of sputum aspiration,total number of colonies at the connecting tube and sputum aspiration effect were compared between the two groups.Results The time of sputum aspiration in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total number of colonies at the junction tube in the observation group was fewer than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The effective rate of sputum suction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Self-made metal ring fixed disposable syringe empty tube to hold sputum suction connection devicis is easy to use,sputum suction connection is fast,with beautiful appearance and convenient cleaning,not easy to hide dirt.
