Abstract Objective To study and analyze the effects of trans-theoretical model(TTM)combined with motivational interviewing(MI)intervention on rehabilitation self-efficacy of patients with hemiplegia. Methods A total of 86 patients with hemiplegia admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from May 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into the control group(43 cases)and the experimental group(43 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group received with routine nursing intervention method, and the experimental group received with TTM combined with MI intervention method. The self-efficacy level(general self-efficacy scale[GSES]),ability of daily living(barthel index[BI]),quality of life(generic quality of life inventory-74[GQOL-74])and body movement function(Fugl-Meyer assessment[FMA])were compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in the scores of GSES,BI,GQOL-74 between the two groups(P>0.05).After one month of intervention, the scores of GSES,BI,GQOL-74 in experimental group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After one month of intervention, the FMA grade of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion TTM combined with MI could improve the body movement function and ability of daily living and enhance the self-efficacy and quality of life of patients with hemiplegia, with high clinical application value.
