Abstract Objective To explore the effect of resistance exercise combined with aerobic exercise in the cardiac rehabilitation of patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 90 CHF patients admitted to People′s Hospital of Zhongshan City from August 2019 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into aerobic exercise group,resistance exercise group and combined exercise group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The aerobic exercise group used aerobic training,the resistance exercise group used resistance exercises,and the combined exercise group used resistance training combined with aerobic training.Cardiac function(left ventricular ejection fraction[LVEF],left ventricular diastolic diameter[LVEDD]),physical function(Chinese version mini-physical performance test[CM-PPT])and quality of life(China questionnaire of quality of life in patients with cardiovascular diseases[CQQC])scores were compared between the three groups before intervention and 12 weeks after intervention.Results Before intervention,there was no statistically significant differences in the LVEF,LVEDD,CM-PPT and CQQC in the three groups(P>0.05).After intervention,the LVEF,CM-PPT and CQQC in the combined exercise group were higher than those in the resistance exercise group and the aerobic exercise group,the LVEF,CM-PPT and CQQC in the resistance exercise group were higher than those in the aerobic exercise group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the LVEDD of the combined exercise group was lower than that of the resistance exercise group and the aerobic exercise group,and the LVEDD of the resistance exercise group was lower than that of the aerobic exercise group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Resistance exercise combined with aerobic exercise can improve the heart function of patients with CHF,improve the physical function of patients,and promote the quality of life.
