Abstract Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of laparoscopic and open ovarian cyst removal and its effect on ovarian function. Methods A total of 110 cases of ovarian cyst patients admitted to the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Shangrao People′s Hospital from January 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group according to touch ball method, with 55 cases in each group.Open ovarian cyst removal was performed in the control group, and laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal was performed in the study group. The operative cure rate and ovarian function indexes 3 months after operation were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the operative cure rate between the two groups (P>0.05).Three months after operation, the levels of pulsatile index (PI), resistance index (RI), serum follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the level of estradiol(E2) was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.001).Conclusion Compared with open ovarian cyst removal, laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal has better therapeutic effect and outstanding advantages in improving the ovarian function of patients, which can be used for reference.
