Abstract Patients with nephrotic syndrome (NS) suffer from excessive loss of plasma protein, most patients suffer from anorexia, lack of dietary knowledge, inadequate dietary intake and unreasonable structure.Some patients spontaneously limit their food intake because of fear of disease progression or weight gain, resulting in malnutrition, which directly affects the clinical efficacy and quality of life of patients.This article elaborated the malnutrition status of NS patients,related influencing factors, nutritional assessment methods, dietary nutrition nursing intervention and drug intervention according to doctor′ advice, the purpose was to provide the theoretical basis of specialized nursing for improving the nutritional status of NS patients, improve the clinical prognosis of patients and improve their quality of life.
