Effect of early rehabilitation nursing intervention in neurology on the prognosis of hemiplegia due to ischemic stroke |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of early rehabilitation nursing intervention in neurology on the prognosis of hemiplegia due to ischemic stroke.Methods A total of 80 patients with ischemic stroke admitted in our hospital from November 2017 to March 2019 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into observation group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases) according to different nursing methods.The control group received routine nursing, the observation group received early rehabilitation nursing intervention.The total incidence rate of anxiety and depression,the European stroke scale (ESS) score, the modified Barthel Index (MBI) score before and after intervention and poor eating habits were compared between the two groups.Results The total incidence rate of anxiety and depression in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, the ESS score of the two groups was higher than before intervention, the ESS score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, the MBI score of the two groups was higher than before intervention, the MBI score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence rates of smoking,drinking, high-fat diet and high-salt diet in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing early rehabilitation care for patients with ischemic stroke can alleviate the negative emotions of patients, improve the neurological function and activities of daily living, reduce the incidence rate of poor eating habits.
