Abstract Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on ovarian dysfunction in patients undergoing luteal phase ovarian stimulation program. Methods From February 2016 to February 2018, 120 patients with ovarian dysfunction who received luteal phase ovarian stimulation program in our hospital were selected as subjects for observation.According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group, 60 cases in each group. The control group was given general nursing intervention, while the observation group was given comprehensive nursing intervention on the basis of general nursing. The time and amount of gonadotrophic hormone (Gn) use, the estradiol level on the day of (HCG) injection, the number of eggs harvested, the number of embryos available, the clinical pregnancy rate, the early abortion rate and the cancellation rate of cycles were compared between the two groups. Results The Gn use time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group, Gn use and estradiol level on the day of HCG injection were higher than those in the control group, the number of eggs and available embryos was more than that of the control group, the clinical pregnancy rate was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly improve the level of estradiol injection daily, the number of eggs obtained, the number of embryos available, and the clinical pregnancy rate in patients with decreased ovarian function treated with luteal stage ovarian stimulation.
