Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Jinlida Granule on vascular endothelial function in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 73 patients with coronary heart disease complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to our hospital from March 2017 to March 2018 were selected as the study subjects, according to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group(43 cases) and control group (30 cases). The control group was treated with routine western medicine and oral hypoglycemic drugs or insulin according to blood sugar, the observation group was treated with Jinlida Granule on the basis of the above treatment. The levels of fasting blood glucose and vascular endothelial function indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups: vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), endothelin-1 (ET-1), nitric oxide (NO). Results The levels of fasting blood sugar and ET-1 after treatment in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor and nitric oxide were higher than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of fasting blood sugar and ET-1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor and nitric oxide in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Jinlida Granule can effectively cooperate with western medicine to reduce blood sugar level, improve vascular endothelial function, and effectively improve the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
