Short-term efficacy of interventional therapy in type 2 diabetic patients with superficial femoral artery occlusion |

Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the short-term efficacy of interventional therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with superficial femoral artery occlusion.Methods117 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with superficial arterial occlusion were selected in our research,who received:interventional therapy in our hospital from June 2014 to May 2016.The levels of ABI and TBI were compared before and after operations and the vascular patency rate was measured at the 1st,3rd and 6th month.ResultsThe levels of ABI and TBI were(0.98±1.13)and(0.62±0.11)respectively significantly higher than those before operation[(0.38±0.28),(0.25±0.03)](P<0.05).The vascular patency rate of patients were 94.87%,87.18%,64.96%at the 1st,3rd and 6th month respectively.ConclusionInterventional therapy possesses the advantage of minimally invasive and our research shows an ideal short-term efficacy,thus it provides a reliable option for type 2 diabetes patients with superficial femoral artery occlusion.
