Abstract Aspirin, as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) with a long history, has been widely used in clinic.Aspirin asthma (AIA) refers to taking aspirin or other NSAIDs within a few minutes or hours after the occurrence of symptoms such as nasal congestion asthma bronchospasm.In this paper, the benefits and risks of Aspirin in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were studied by referring to relevant literature, and the benefits and risks of Aspirin in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with respiratory distress as the main characteristics were discussed, so as to provide reference for clinical application.
