Abstract Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a common severe emergency in clinical practice. Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) can reduce the mortality and improve the prognosis of patients. After PCI, coronary no-reflow phenomenon (CNR) occurs in some patients, which impairs their short-term and long-term prognosis. The occurrence of CNR is related to multiple risk factors, such as ischemia, reperfusion injury, distal peripheral microembolism, and body susceptibility. However, no accurate conclusion has been made on the exact causes.CNR diagnosis includes a variety of invasive and non-invasive methods. By the risk factor analysis and systematic scoring, CNR can be predicted at the early stage. At present, various drug and non-drug methods have been proposed for clinical prevention and treatment of CNR, but no specific prevention and treatment method has been found. Therefore, further research is needed to prevent and treat no-reflow in the future.
