Effect of continuous nursing on the quality of life of patients with hallux valgus treated by integrated traditional Chinese and Western minimally invasive method |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing on the quality of life of patients with hallux valgus treated with the combination of Chinese and Western minimally invasive methods.Methods A total of 78 patients with hallux valgus admitted to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Shenzhen Hospital from March 2018 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into the control group(39 cases)and the observation group(39 cases)according to random number table method.All patients were underwent a combination of Chinese and Western minimally invasive surgery for hallux valgus correction.The control group used conventional nursing measures,and the observation group received continuous nursing on the basis of the control group.The quality of life scores of the two groups were compared.Results Three months after the intervention,the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,6 months after the intervention,the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous nursing interventions for patients undergoing minimally invasive surgery for hallux valgus improved the quality of life of patients.
