Abstract Hyperprolactinemia(HPRL)is a common but easily overlooked adverse reaction in the treatment of antipsychotics.Clinical pharmacists lack pharmaceutical care, which leads to a serious decline in medication compliance and quality of life of such patients. This study based on the pharmaceutical analysis and care carried out by clinical pharmacists for a patient with HPRL caused by amisulpride, acording to the lactation symptoms and the effectiveness of amisulpride in the treatment of mental symptoms, clinical pharmacists suggested that doctors should combine aripiprazole to actively treat HPRL,which was adopted by doctors. At the same time,in the process of combined use,the optimal effective dose of aripiprazole was found. Finally, the patient′s lactation symptoms were relieved, and the serum prolactin level gradually decreased.Through the analysis of this case and the review of relevant literature, this study aims to deepen clinicians and pharmacists′ understanding of HPRL,and actively individualized treatment of symptomatic HPRL,so as to improve patients′ medication compliance and quality of life.
