Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe the efficacy of ganglioside in preventing and reducing chronic sensory neurotoxicity of oxaliplatin.Methods78 patients after gastric and colonrectal cancer resection from July 2014 to July 2016 of Department of Oncology, receiving oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy were divided into treatment group(n=40)and control group (n=38),the treatment group was given the ganglioside at the same time in each cycle of Oxaliplatin chemotherapy, the control group was used furan thiamine in each cycle of chemotherapy at the same time.21 days for a cycle in two groups. After chemotherapy, the neurotoxity evaluation, chemotherapeutic effect and adverse reactions were performed and compared.ResultsThere was noⅣ magnitude peripheral nerve toxicity in the two groups.TheⅡ andⅢ incidence of The peripheral nerve toxicity of experimental group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of chemotherapy, the incidence of chemotherapy related adverse reactions, disease control rate, the median progressionfree surial were compared, there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).ConclusionGanglioside has better prevent the toxic effects of oxaliplatin into caused by peripheral nerve, and does not affect the curative effect of chemotherapy has not increased treatment-related adverse reactions.
