Research on the effect of divided classroom application in rehabilitation teaching and its influence on students′ autonomous learning ability and critical thinking

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of divided classroom on the application of rehabilitation teaching and the impact on students′ autonomous learning ability and critical thinking.Methods Sixty-two students from the School of Rehabilitation, Shanghai Health Medical College from February to June 2020 were selected as the control group, and 59 students from September 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the experimental group.The control group used the traditional teaching method for rehabilitation teaching, and the experimental group used the divided classroom for rehabilitation teaching.The assessment scores, independent learning scores and critical thinking ability scores of the two groups were compared.Results The theoretical test scores, operational test scores, and total scores in the final exam of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores and total scores of each dimension in the self-directed learning readiness scale (SDLRS) of the experimental group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores and total scores of all dimensions in the critical thinking disposition inventory (CTDI-CV) of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Completion Divided classroom is a kind of teaching method that students have a high degree of recognition, which can improve students′ independent learning ability and critical thinking, thereby improving their test scores.
