Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of VIVALNK′s intelligent body temperature detection system in measuring the body temperature of fever patients, and to provide a basis for continuous intelligent body temperature monitoring. Methods A total of 65 patients with body temperature above 37.3℃admitted to the fever observation ward in Maternal and child health care hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from March to June 2020 were selected as the research objects. The body temperature of patients was measured by mercury thermometer,VIVALNK intelligent body temperature paste and mercury thermometer.Taking mercury thermometer as the gold standard, the measurement results of VIVALNK intelligent body temperature paste and TP500 frontal thermometer and the cognition of patients(or family members of children)on the use of intelligent body temperature paste were compared. Results There was no significant difference between the average body temperature of VIVALNK smart body temperature patch and mercury thermometer(P>0.05);a total of 96.92% of patients(or family members of patients)could accept the use of smart body temperature patch in the hospital. Conclusion The effect of VIVALNK intelligent body temperature patch to monitor body temperature is highly consistent with that of mercury thermometers, and can continuously monitor body temperature changes for 24 hours, and is easy to be accepted by patients, and clinical use is feasible.
