Abstract:ObjectiveTo examine the effect of cervical conization on in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)and pregnancy.MethodsThe IVF-ET scheme, laboratory index, and pregnancy outcome of 36 patients with cervical conization (study group)from January 2012 to December 2014 in our center were analyzed, and were compared with 350 patientswithout cervical conization (control group)at the same period.ResultsThere were no statistically significant differences in IVF-ET scheme, the number of retrieved oocytes, and the rate of oocyte-obtained,fertilization,good quality embryo, pregnancy, early abortion, ectopic pregnancy of fresh cycle transplantation between two groups(P>0.05).The number of transferred embryos in the study group was significantly less than that of the control group (P<0.01),however,the rate of embryo reduction was higher(P<0.01).The rate of cesarean section had no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),the rate of premature rupture ofmembrane, preterm birth, low birth weight children rate in study group was a little higher than that of the control group, but had no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).ConclusionThere is no significant difference in IVF-ET protocol between patients with cervical conization and other patients, itwould not affect the pregnancy rate usingmore less of embryos in order to reducemultiple pregnancy.
